Text
(a)The executive officer of the board shall send a written notice of renewal to every person holding a valid license to practice the fitting and dispensing of hearing instruments within the state at least 30 days prior to the first day of July in each year, directed to the last known address of such licensee.
(b)A person who practices the fitting and dispensing of hearing instruments shall annually pay to the board the license renewal fee provided for in K.S.A. 74-5810a, and amendments thereto, for renewal of such person's license and shall submit documentation that the calibration of the person's audiometric testing equipment has been tested and verified as accurate within the preceding two-year period.
