Text
As used in this act:
(a)"Community resource program" means a program designed and established in response to the educational, recreational, social and cultural needs of a community and which is operated by residents of the community who volunteer their talent, skills and knowledge in offering courses and activities for all the residents of the community.
(b)"Local organization" means nonprofit organizations which are organized under public or private auspices especially for the purpose of establishing and operating community resource programs, free universities, community education programs or other community programs or services, or for purposes primarily concerning the general welfare of the community.
