Kansas·Ch. 74 STATE BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND AUTHORITIES·Art. 49a PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEMS; PRIOR SERVICE CREDIT AND SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS
Notwithstanding the provisions of K.S.A. 74-4902 and 74-4911 to the contrary, an employee of a participating employer who was born on December 23, 1914, and who became a member of the Kansas public employees retirement system on May 1, 1965, was employed until June 30, 1967 and who transferred to another department of the participating employer on August 7, 1967 until June 30, 1971, and who did not return to employment with a participating employer within one hundred twenty (120) days from said date but who has left employee contributions with the retirement system, and who was again reemployed by the participating employer on March 1, 1972, shall be reinstated as a member of the retirement system effective March 1, 1972 and granted participating service credit from that date to the effect
