§ 74-49a108 — Membership and participating service credit for certain employees
Kansas·Ch. 74 STATE BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND AUTHORITIES·Art. 49a PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEMS; PRIOR SERVICE CREDIT AND SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS
Notwithstanding the provisions of K.S.A. 74-4902 and 74-4911 to the contrary, an employee of a participating employer who was born on September 19, 1911, and who was employed by said employer on February 1, 1971, and who was employed by another participating employer from May 1, 1965 through July 23, 1969, and by another participating employer from August 19, 1969 through October 6, 1969, and who is employed by a participating employer on the effective date of this act, shall again become a member of the Kansas public employees retirement system as of February 1, 1971, upon the payment of appropriate employer and employee contributions, and shall be entitled to receive participating service credit for employment with the participating employer by whom he or she is employed on the effective
