§ 74-4977 — Termination of employment; conditions for prior service credit upon returning to employment

Kansas·Ch. 74 STATE BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND AUTHORITIES·Art. 49 PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM
The provisions of K.S.A. 74-4963 and amendments thereto relating to termination of employment shall be applicable in all respects to patrolmen becoming members of the Kansas police and firemen's retirement system, except that a member who transfers from the Kansas highway patrol pension system and later terminates such member's employment and withdraws such member's accumulated contributions under the Kansas police and firemen's retirement system and the Kansas highway patrol pension system may upon returning to covered employment receive credit for such member's service prior to termination, subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 74-49,123 and amendments thereto, by repaying such member's accumulated contributions plus interest, as determined by the board, to the Kansas police and firemen's
