(a)There is hereby established the students' advisory committee to the state board of regents. Prior to July 1, 1996, the students' advisory committee shall be composed of seven members who shall be the highest student executive officer elected by the entire student body at the university of Kansas, Kansas state university of agriculture and applied science, Emporia state university, Pittsburg state university, Fort Hays state university, Wichita state university and Kansas state university polytechnic campus.
