The board of control of any area vocational-technical school, as provided for in K.S.A. 74-32,407, upon majority vote of the members thereof, is hereby authorized to pay dues from its operating fund to any association or organization the purpose and function of which is to provide for:
(a)Accreditation necessary to enable the area vocational-technical school to fulfill its educational mission; or
(b)the exchange of information and cooperation among area vocational schools or area vocational-technical schools for the strengthening of programs for the benefit of its member area vocational schools and area vocational-technical schools; or
(c)information, education and assistance to boards of control on curriculum or in solving problems peculiar to area vocational school or area vocational-
