(a)Before commencing an action pursuant to K.S.A. 72-5633, and amendments thereto, a party alleging a violation of article 6 of the Kansas constitution shall file a written notice as provided in this section. The notice shall be filed with the chief clerk of the house of representatives and the secretary of the senate and shall contain the following:
(1)The name and address of the party or parties and the name and address of the party's or parties' attorney, if any;
(2)a concise statement of the factual basis of the alleged violation, including supporting documentation; and (3) a statement of the amount of monetary damages a specific relief that is being requested.
