Text
All records of an exceptional child who transfers, or who is transferred, from one school district to another shall be transferred at the same time that such child transfers, or is transferred, or as soon thereafter as possible. If the transfer is a result of the change in placement by the secretary for children and families, it shall be the duty of the secretary to transfer, or make provision for the transfer, of such records to the district or school to which the child is transferred. If the transfer is a result of the change in placement by the commissioner of juvenile justice, it shall be the duty of the commissioner to transfer, or make provision for the transfer, of such records to the district or school to which the child is transferred.
