§ 72-2649 — Employees in school service one-half time; and employed by a nonschool agency of the state one-half time
If a school employee as provided in K.S.A. 72-5515, is eligible to receive only one-half of service credit in a school year and deductions are applicable only to the first two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) of the gross salary paid during a school year for school service, is also employed at least one-half time by an agency of the state of Kansas in nonschool service such school employee may request in writing to the school employer on such forms as may be required by the retirement board, that the four percent (4%) deduction be applicable to the first five thousand dollars ($5,000) of the combined gross salaries. Such deduction shall be made by the school employer entirely from the salary for school service and remitted and credited the same as other such deductions. Upon receipt
