§ 72-2628 — Eligibility for school annuity; how annuities paid; life annuities and refund annuities at retirement; employment after retirement, when; effect

Kansas·Ch. 72 SCHOOLS·Art. 26 SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEMS
Except as otherwise provided in this act, any school employee who has attained the age of 65 shall be eligible for a school annuity, but any employee who has attained the age of 60, at such school employee's choice, may be granted an annuity beginning on any September first from age 60. Any school annuity granted prior to age 65 shall not be the standard annuity, but shall be determined in accordance with the early retirement schedule specified in K.S.A. 72-5518 and amendments thereto, except as provided in K.S.A. 72-5513 and amendments thereto for those who retire prior to age 60 because of physical or mental disability.
