§ 68-584 — Secondary arterial highways; issuance of bonds to pay costs; election, when

If the board of county commissioners or the governing body of the city determines that any of the costs incurred or to be incurred by the county or city, as the case may be, in carrying out the provisions of K.S.A. 68-581, 68-582 and 68-583, and amendments thereto, in relation to any street, road or highway should be paid by moneys derived from the issuance of general obligation bonds of the county or city, the board or governing body, may issue such bonds for such purpose or purposes. No bonds shall be issued under this section until the question of the issuance of the bonds is submitted to a vote of the electors of the county or city at a regular or special election called for that purpose and a majority of those voting on the question shall have voted in favor of the issuance of the bon
