§ 65-7214 — Naturopathic advisory council; membership; expenses; legislature to consider establishing alternative health care board

Kansas·Ch. 65 PUBLIC HEALTH·Art. 72 NATUROPATHIC DOCTORS
(a)There is established a naturopathic advisory council to advise the board in carrying out the provisions of this act. The council shall consist of five members, all citizens and residents of the state of Kansas appointed as follows: Three members shall be naturopathic doctors appointed by the state board of healing arts; one member shall be the president of the state board of healing arts or a person designated by the president; and one member appointed by the governor shall be from the public sector who is not engaged, directly or indirectly, in the provision of health services. Insofar as possible persons appointed to the council shall be from different geographic areas. If a vacancy occurs on the council, the appointing authority of the position which has become vacant shall appoint
