Text

The secretary of agriculture is hereby authorized to prepare and adopt regulations for the proper enforcement of the act. The secretary of agriculture may adopt regulations for the exemption of the operations of any person from inspection or other requirements of this act if and to the extent such operations would be exempt from corresponding requirements of the federal meat inspection act or the federal poultry inspection act.
