Text
(a)The board may inquire into the operation of ambulance services and the conduct of emergency medical service providers, and may conduct periodic inspections of facilities, communications services, materials and equipment at any time without notice.
(b)The board may issue subpoenas in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 65-6111(d), and amendments thereto, to compel an operator holding a permit to make access to or for the production of records regarding services performed and to furnish such other information as the board may require to carry out the provisions of this act to the same extent and subject to the same limitations as would apply if the subpoenas were issued or served in aid of a civil action in the district court.
