(a)Except as provided by this act, the emergency medical services board established by K.S.A. 65-6102 shall be the successor to the powers, duties and functions of the University of Kansas school of medicine relating to (1) approval of emergency medical services training and (2) emergency medical training program approvals in which the same were vested prior to the effective date of this act.
(b)The emergency medical services board shall succeed to all records which were used for or pertain to the performance of the powers, duties and functions transferred to the board pursuant to subsection (a). Any conflict as to the proper disposition of records arising under this section shall be resolved by the governor, whose decision shall be final.
