Text

The chief administrative officer of the emergency medical services board shall be the administrator of the emergency medical services board. The emergency medical services board shall appoint the administrator. The administrator shall be in the unclassified service under the Kansas civil service act and shall serve at the pleasure of the board. The administrator shall administer the duties and responsibilities of the emergency medical services board as directed by the board. The administrator shall appoint other officers and employees as may be necessary to carry out the functions of the emergency medical services board. All such officers and employees shall be within the classified service under the Kansas civil service act.
