(a)Upon written application and board approval, an individual who is licensed to engage in the independent clinical practice of professional counseling at the clinical level in another jurisdiction, who is in good standing in that other jurisdiction and who has engaged in the clinical practice of professional counseling in that jurisdiction for at least two years immediately preceding application may engage in the independent practice of clinical professional counseling as provided by K.S.A. 65-5801 et seq., and amendments thereto, in this state for not more than 30 days per year upon receipt of a temporary permit to practice issued by the board.
