Text
(a)There is hereby created in the state treasury the Kansas right-to-know fee fund, which shall be administered by the secretary of health and environment. All moneys received pursuant to K.S.A. 65-5704, and amendments thereto, shall be deposited into the Kansas right-to-know fee fund.
(b)All expenditures from the Kansas right-to-know fee fund shall be used by the secretary of health and environment to:
(1)Administer the Kansas right-to-know program;
(2)provide and maintain the reporting system necessary to comply with K.S.A. 65-5704, and amendments thereto; and
(3)provide training to owners or operators of Kansas facilities, Kansas first responders and Kansas emergency management officials on the existence, access and use of the reporting system established pursuant to the Kansas eme
