§ 65-5504 — Respiratory care council established; appointment of members; compensation

Kansas·Ch. 65 PUBLIC HEALTH·Art. 55 RESPIRATORY THERAPY
(a)There is established a respiratory care council to advise the board in carrying out the provisions of this act. The council shall consist of seven members, all citizens and residents of the state of Kansas appointed as follows: One member shall be a physician appointed by the state board of healing arts; one member shall be the president of the state board of healing arts or a person designated by the president; two members shall be from the public sector who are not engaged, directly or indirectly, in the provision of health services appointed by the governor; and three members shall be respiratory therapists appointed by the governor.
