Text

(a)The board shall prepare and maintain a master list of approved courses on mental health technology:
(1)Which qualify graduates thereof, if they have the other necessary qualifications provided for in this act, to be eligible to apply for a license as a mental health technician; and (2) which meet the requirements of the board for qualification under a continuing education program for licensed mental health technicians.
(b)A survey of the proposed course and of the institution applying for accreditation of the course on mental health technology shall be made by an authorized employee of the board or members of the board who shall submit a written report concerning such study. The board may contract with investigative agencies, commissions or consultants to assist the board in obtainin
