Text
The board shall conduct examinations for applicants for licensure to practice barbering at such times and places as the board shall determine; but examinations shall be given not less than twice in each year. Such examination shall include both a practical demonstration and a written test of the applicant's knowledge of hygiene and the fundamentals of the vocation. A license to practice shall be issued each applicant who shall satisfactorily pass both the practical demonstration and the written test with a grade of not less than 80%, and shall possess the other qualifications required by law. The board shall allow an applicant who fails one part of the examination to be reexamined only on that part which was failed.
