Text

(a)An automated dispensing system shall be under the supervision of a pharmacist licensed in Kansas, who may be retained on a part-time basis and who shall be responsible for recordkeeping and storage of all drugs and verifying and documenting each prescription drug prepared or dispensed by such system.
(b)The board shall adopt such rules and regulations relating to automated dispensing systems as necessary for proper control and operation.
(c)This section shall be part of and supplemental to the pharmacy act of the state of Kansas.
