Text

Any person who shall practice dentistry or dental hygiene in this state within the meaning of this act without having first obtained a license from the board, or who violates any of the provisions of this act, the penalty for which is not herein specifically provided, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Anyone convicted of a misdemeanor under this act shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than twelve months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
