Text
Every individual, partnership, association or corporation engaged in the business of transportation as a common carrier, which is subject to regulation by the state corporation commission, and doing business in this state, must appoint a person residing in this state on whom process may be served. The individual, partnership, association or corporation must file a certificate of the appointment in the office of the state corporation commission or as required by 49 U.S.C. § 11506. Service of process on the appointed person has the same effect as service on the president or other chief officer of the individual, partnership, association or corporation.
