§ 48-3303 — Expenditure of state moneys; receipt of other moneys; patrol part of adjutant general's office for budget and personnel and other state administrative processes; form of appropriation

Kansas·Ch. 48 MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY·Art. 33 KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL AIR PATROL
(a)The Kansas department of civil air patrol may expend moneys appropriated from the state general fund for the department to purchase and maintain communications systems, to pay the maintenance and insurance costs of aircraft and vehicles owned by the department, to pay necessary operations and administrative expenses incurred in support of the functions specified in K.S.A. 48-3302, and amendments thereto, and to pay salaries of necessary secretarial or administrative support personnel, in accordance with appropriation acts. For the purpose of preparation of the governor's budget report, personnel actions and other actions in the state administrative process, the Kansas department of civil air patrol shall be considered part of the adjutant general's office.
