§ 48-263 — Same; limitations

Kansas·Ch. 48 MILITIA, DEFENSE AND PUBLIC SAFETY·Art. 2 KANSAS ARMY AND AIR NATIONAL GUARD

Entitlements shall accrue under this act only when the wound, injury, disease, illness or death is incurred by the member:

(a)In the line of duty when on an emergency or nonemergency assignment as specified in K.S.A. 48-225, and

(b)when in the service of this state, and

(c)when the member is at his or her place of duty or is traveling to or from such place of duty, or

(d)the member dies as a result of any such wound, injury, disease or illness.
