Text

It shall not be lawful to sell alcoholic liquor at retail nor shall the director grant or issue, or cause to be granted or issued, any license to sell alcoholic liquor at retail within the limits of any city of this state, while the prohibition against such sales, arising under K.S.A. 41-301 and 41-302, or otherwise as provided in this act, is in effect; and if any such license be granted or issued in violation hereof the same shall be void: Provided, That this section shall not prohibit the issuance of a manufacturer's or distributor's license in accordance with law by the director in such prohibited territory.
