§ 40-609 — Act not to apply to certain associations

Kansas·Ch. 40 INSURANCE·Art. 6 MUTUAL ASSESSMENT LIFE ASSOCIATIONS
This article shall not apply to any association of religious or secret societies now existing or under the supervision of a grand or supreme lodge, nor to any class of mechanics, express, telegraph or railroad employees formed for the mututal benefit of the members thereof and their families, exclusively.
