Text
Residents of this state whose policies were previously subject to the protections set forth in K.S.A. 40-2901 et seq., and amendments thereto, or K.S.A. 40-3001 et seq., and amendments thereto, and whose policies are transferred to an unlicensed insurer pursuant to this section are entitled to continued protection thereunder.
This section shall take effect on and after July 1, 2004.
