§ 40-4702 — Same; Kansas business health policy committee; membership; organization; powers and duties

Kansas·Ch. 40 INSURANCE·Art. 47 KANSAS BUSINESS HEALTH PARTNERSHIP
(a)The governor of the state of Kansas shall appoint a committee that shall be known as the Kansas business health policy committee, whose purpose is to explore opportunities and encourage employer participation in health plans developed by the committee for low and modest wage employees of small employers.
(b)The Kansas business health policy committee, hereinafter referred to as the health committee, shall consist of:
(1)The secretary of the department of commerce or the secretary's designee;
(2)the secretary for children and families or the secretary's designee;
(3)the secretary for aging and disability services or the secretary's designee;
(4)the commissioner of insurance or the commissioner's designee;
(5)one member appointed by the president of the senate;
