§ 40-301 — Definition of insurance company

Kansas·Ch. 40 INSURANCE·Art. 3 ORGANIZATION, MERGER OR CONSOLIDATION OF STOCK COMPANIES
For the purpose of this article the term "insurance company" shall apply to domestic insurance companies having a capital stock; and may include foreign insurance companies having a capital stock when reference is made to the union, merger, consolidation and re-insurance of insurance companies.
