Text
(a)Every property or casualty insurance company transacting business in this state shall file with the state fire marshal, directly or through a reporting service, a monthly report of each fire loss paid which exceeds five hundred dollars ($500) and an annual report setting forth the total number of fire losses and the total amount of losses paid.
(b)The state fire marshal shall adopt rules and regulations prescribing the contents of the reports required to be filed pursuant to the provisions of subsection (a) and prescribing the time for filing such reports. The state fire marshal shall make report forms available upon request.
