Any corporation organized under the provisions of article 13, chapter 40 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated and now transacting business as a mutual indemnity association may continue the transaction of such business: Provided, That, on or before May 1, 1962, every such corporation shall comply fully with the provisions of the insurance code of this state relating to mutual insurance companies other than life as set out in article 12, chapter 40 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto.
