Text
As used in the Kansas local government outdoor recreation grant act:
(a)"Local government" means any county, city or township or any two or more such local governments acting jointly pursuant to intergovernmental agreements or as otherwise authorized by statute.
(b)"Capital improvement project" means a capital improvement project to establish, develop, renovate or repair an outdoor recreational facility, including the acquisition of land, acquisition and installation of equipment, construction, renovation or repair of outdoor recreational facilities, and including renovations and repairs to provide safety improvements and handicapped accessibility and other improvements, including improvements to attain compliance with the requirements imposed under the federal Americans with disabilitie
