Text
(a)Before commencing duties as a judge or clerk, every person shall take and subscribe the oath or affirmation provided for herein. Such oath or affirmation may be administered by the county election officer, deputy county election officer or any judge who has already taken such oath or affirmation. The officer administering the oath or affirmation shall examine the person as to fitness to serve as judge or clerk.
(b)Each oath or affirmation so subscribed shall be delivered to the county election officer not later than the day following the election and shall be retained in his office until disposed of as provided by law.
(c)The oath or affirmation herein provided shall be to discharge the duties of judge or clerk at such election faithfully, honestly and according to law. The form of s
