§ 25-2018 — Notices of school board member elections and question submitted elections; requirements for publication

Kansas·Ch. 25 ELECTIONS·Art. 20 SCHOOL DISTRICT ELECTIONS
(a)Notices of board member elections and question submitted elections of a school district shall be made as provided in this section.
(b)On or before June 10 of odd-numbered years, the county election officer shall publish a notice of election one time in a newspaper having general circulation in the school district. Notice of the election shall also be published on the website of the county election office of any county where the election is to be conducted. Such notice shall remain on the website until the day after the election. The notice for board member elections shall state:
(1)The name of the school district;
(2)the date of the general election;
(3)the date of the primary election if one is held;
(4)the filing deadline and the place of filing; and (5) the offices or positions
