The county of Marion is bounded as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of Chase county; thence south on west line of Chase county, to the north line of Butler county; thence west on township line, to the sixth principal meridian; thence north on said meridian, to the south line of township sixteen south; thence east, to the range line between ranges four and five east; thence south, to the north line of township eighteen south; thence east on township line, to the place of beginning.
