The county of Chase is bounded as follows: Commencing at a point where the township line between townships seventeen and eighteen south crosses the western boundary line of Lyon county; thence south with the range line between ranges nine and ten east, to the township line between townships twenty-two and twenty-three south; thence west with said township line, to the southwest corner of section thirty-six, range five east; thence north on section line, to the northwest corner of section one, township twenty, range five; thence east to the range line between ranges five and six; thence north with said range line, to the township line between townships seventeen and eighteen south; thence east with said township line, to the place of beginning.
