Text

In all cities of the first class which have a population of one hundred thousand (100,000) or more, and which shall have the city-manager plan of government at the effective date of this act, the court shall be designated the municipal court, and the judge of the municipal court shall be appointed by the judges of the district court of the district in which said city is located in each odd-numbered year, commencing in 1929, to take office on the third Tuesday in April in such year, or as soon thereafter as appointed, and hold the same until a successor shall have been appointed and shall have qualified and said judge shall be designated judge of division No. 1: Provided, That the judges of the district court of the district in which such city is located shall appoint two additional judges
