§ 13-1348 — Same; powers

Kansas·Ch. 13 CITIES OF THE FIRST CLASS·Art. 13 PARKS, PARKWAYS, BOULEVARDS AND PLAYGROUNDS
Except as provided in K.S.A. 3-167, when a board of park commissioners, as provided herein, has been created and members thereof have been qualified in the manner provided by law, such board of park commissioners shall be vested with all powers, authority and control heretofore vested in the governing body, the board of park commissioners of such city, so far as the same relates to parks, parkways, boulevards, municipal airports, playgrounds, and shade trees, and such board of park commissioners shall have every power, authority and control over the parks, parkways, boulevards, municipal airports, playgrounds and shade trees, as is or may hereafter be vested in a board of park commissioners, board of commissioners, or other body, except that all bonds required or authorized by law to be is
