§ 13-10,133 — Same; bonds; protest petition; election provisions

Kansas·Ch. 13 CITIES OF THE FIRST CLASS·Art. 10 PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
The governing body of any city which has created a storm drainage district under the provisions of this act may issue general obligation bonds of the city or bonds payable by a tax levy against property located within such district to pay the cost of constructing storm sewers and drains within such districts. Such bonds may either be paid by the watershed district or by the city at large or by a combination thereof. Before any bonds are issued, the governing body of the city shall cause to be published once each week for two consecutive weeks in the official city newspaper a notice of its intention to cause the improvement to be made and to issue bonds of the city to pay the costs thereof.
