§ 9-32-9-18 — Late model vehicles purchased by disposal facilities or automotive salvage rebuilders; completion of recordkeeping forms; violation
(a)This section applies to vehicles and their
component parts that are in either their current model year or in the
immediately preceding six (6) model years when purchased by a
recycling facility or automotive salvage rebuilder.
(b)A recycling facility and automotive salvage rebuilder licensed
under this chapter shall comply with the recordkeeping requirements
under section 15 of this chapter for the purchase of a salvage motor
vehicle or major component part.
(c)A recycling facility or automotive salvage rebuilder that fails to
comply with subsection (a) or (b) commits a Class A infraction.
