§ 9-32-6-2 — Classifications of dealer license plates; fee
(a)The secretary shall issue dealer license plates
under this chapter according to the following classifications:
(1)Dealer-new.
(2)Dealer-used.
(3)Manufacturer.
(b)The secretary may adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 to establish
additional classifications of dealer license plates and may prescribe the
general conditions for usage of an additional classification. The
secretary shall establish the classification of dealer promotional license
plates.
(c)The fee for a license plate issued under a classification
established under subsection (b) is forty dollars ($40). The fee shall be
deposited in the dealer compliance account.
