Text

1.

(a)It is an unfair practice for a manufacturer or distributor to:
(1)require a dealer to; or
(2)coerce a dealer into; selling or offering for sale a service contract, a debt cancellation agreement, a maintenance agreement, or any similar product that is approved, endorsed, sponsored, or offered by the manufacturer, distributor, affiliate, or captive finance source.
(b)It is an unfair practice for a manufacturer or distributor to consider a dealer's sale of service contracts, debt cancellation agreements, maintenance agreements, or any similar product not approved, endorsed, sponsored, or offered by the manufacturer, distributor, affiliate, or captive finance source when determining the following:
(1)The eligibility of a dealer to purchase vehicles, parts, or other products or servi
