Text
It is an unfair practice for a manufacturer or
distributor to prevent or attempt to prevent a dealer from receiving fair
and reasonable compensation for the value of the franchised business
as a going concern. The dealer may not transfer or assign the dealer's
franchise without the consent of the manufacturer or distributor, and
the manufacturer or distributor may not unreasonably withhold consent.
