A law enforcement officer may, without a warrant, arrest a person in case of violations of:

(1)IC 9-26-1-1.1; and
(2)IC 9-30-5 if the violation of IC 9-30-5 is coupled with an accident; when the law enforcement officer has probable cause to believe that the violation was committed by the person.
