Text

(a)The bureau may enter into reciprocal contracts and agreements for the state with the proper authorities of any state, commonwealth, and the District of Columbia regulating the use of motor vehicles on the highways of Indiana belonging to and owned or operated on the highways by citizens of the other states, commonwealths, or the District of Columbia, in consideration of the granting by the other state, commonwealth, or District of Columbia to Indiana or to the citizens of Indiana a like privilege or privileges while operating a motor vehicle in the other state, commonwealth, or District of Columbia.
(b)The bureau may also enter into reciprocal contracts and agreements with the legislative bodies and commissions, boards, or officials authorized by the law of any other state, commonweal
