§ 9-26-7-1 — Duty of fence owner to give notice of damage
If a fence adjacent to a highway maintained by the state is damaged or destroyed as the result of a traffic accident occurring on the state highway, the owner of the damaged fence shall notify the Indiana department of transportation of the occurrence of the accident and damage to the fence within ten (10) days after the accident.
