Text

The person in charge of a garage or repair shop to which a motor vehicle that shows evidence of having been struck by a bullet is brought shall report to the state police department, within twenty-four (24) hours after the motor vehicle is received, the following information:

(1)The engine number of the motor vehicle.
(2)The registration number of the motor vehicle.
(3)The name and address of the owner or operator of the motor vehicle. [Pre-1991 Recodification Citation: 9-4-1-50.]
